Sponsored by the Office of Community and Equity, Episcopal High School's 4th Annual MLK Jr. Day Symposium aims to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrate his legacy and ideals. This year's focus on justice brings together a variety of voices and perspectives. We endeavor to foster a greater awareness of the role Dr. King has played in the lives of all, and to facilitate conversations and workshops that promote equity and inclusion within our community and the larger global community of which we are a small part.

In addition, this year's symposium will be the host space for the Virginia Diversity Network's Upper School Diversity Conference. Please submit workshop ideas for approval at https://forms.gle/YfU96AhXiFz2YzuN7.

  • The conference is open to all Virginia independent school students, grades 9-12

  • Registration is $10 per member school student, faculty, and staff attendee

  • Registration is $50 per non-member school attendee

  • Each school must send at least one faculty/staff member with its student delegation (limited to 10 students per school)
